Prologue

Libraries line hell.
Libraries line heaven.
Libraries line the Earth.
They line our souls.

All that knowledge. All those ideas. All those thoughts and silly little moments captured in pages that line the walls. Page after page, chapter after chapter, book after book, cover after cover. Some say it is impossible to read every book that has ever been produced. They are of course right, but one thing is possible. One thing that a little girl who hates books will realise all too soon. They can be experienced. They can be lived; they can be seen; and they can be felt and understood.

Her library may not consist of every book ever written, but neither can every book ever written hold every idea or thought. Her mind, however, can.

Her name is not important. Her age is of even less. All you need to know is that she is the girl in blue. The girl with the ponytail. The girl with the thoughts. The girl who’ll save the world.
